A partnership: Your hosts

Everything starts with Elisabeth and Heinrich Rainer ...
The Seeperle was created and nurtured. They have run the country in with passion, joy and humour, for over 25 years.

Do have something on your mind, or you just feel like having a cosy chat with friends? Then you’ve come to the right place with Elisabeth. The landlady knows everything and everyone and even has some of the best tips on Kaltern and the surrounding area. And as much as you like Elisabeth, you will also like Heini, the entertainer, caretaker and passionate gardener; he is an all-round talent and the man for everything.

The spark of enthusiasm for hotel operations lies with the son of the house, the junior boss Arthur, and his wife Ingrid.

Their two small daughters Celine and Leonie can also often be seen whirling around the hotel and keeping Ingrid pretty busy. But although they keep her on her toes, she also manages to keep the office and administration running in good shape. She is also always on hand whenever help is needed.

As a true native of Kaltern, Arthur is of course interested in good wine and has produced his own since 2013. Arthur loves nothing more than to tell the story of how the grapes actually end up as finished wine in the bottle and all about his life as winemaker, and his tales are as fine as a glass of wine, good quality house wine of course.

What our guests say:

Every single staff member and the family who runs this place is unbelievably nice, accommodating, and friendly. Everything can be arranged, no problem. These people work hard, but they seem to like what they do, which transpires.
